The Residence Due Torri is located in Maiori, along the Amalfi Coast, one of the most charming places in the world immersed amongst the greenery and extraordinary rocky promontories on the sea, the ideal place to enjoy short breaks or longer holidays for Amalfi Coast lovers who dream a stay in apartments or villas in Amalfi, for example.

Divine is the most used adjective to describe the Coast which stretched from ' Positano' to 'Vietri sul Mare' and ends at the gates of Salerno.

On its steep rocky slopes the Mediterranean bush, unique in the world for its variety and colours, blooms perpendicularly below, under the steep slopes, the deep blue sea, is a constant presence.

Maiori reached its peak during the Marine Republic of Amalfi. There are several important religious buildings in town dating back to the XII century. This town with a quite large population (approx 5750 inhabitants) was also chosen by ‘Roberto Rossellini’ to be the location of several of his most well-known films. Maiori is not only history or art. It is also a landscape masterpiece, a splendid pearl which at dusk brightens with the dazzle of the setting sun off the sea while from the earth the bushes of ‘Bouganvilles’ are lit up by the fire of its characteristic red flower- cups.

Maiori is the largest beach area on the Amalfi Coast divided by the concrete month of the river.

At 50mts away from the ‘Residence Due Torri’ , there is the impressive ‘Norman s Tower’ , built in the second half of the 16th century, which is now an exclusive restaurant with also a small lido on the beach directly under it during summer.

The Coastal road, SS 163, runs between beaches and towns, with its highly welcoming restaurants, bars and markets making for an extremely pleasurable holiday.

Beaches opposite Maiori town can be reached by ferries and public transport.

HOW TO REACH US…

We are easy to reach by car, train, bus or plane.

By Car: Coming from the north, take the A3 (Napoli - Salerno) motorway. Exiting at Vietri sul Mare will bring you to the SS 163 (Amalfitana). after about 15 km you will find the residence at few meters from old Norman tower on the sea. For those coming from the south, take the 'Salerno - Reggio Calabria' motorway. Exit at Salerno and follow the directions indicated for “Costiera Amalfitana”.

By Train / bus : The nearest railway station is Salerno. When you arrive at the station, take the bus service for the Salerno - Amalfi line, and request the stop "Torre Normanna di Maiori" (ask the driver). Alternatively, during summer months take the ferry service in Salerno from piazza della Concordia to Minori. From Minori take the bus service to Maiori, requesting the stop “Torre Normanna”,

By Plane: The nearest airport to the Amalfi Coast is the 'Capodichino Airport' in Naples. Regular flights fly from - MILAN-VENICE-LONDON-PARIS. Upon request, the Hotel can arrange for taxi service to and from Naples airport.
